A few years ago I quit my regular job and went to work for Obama.
No, not really Obama, but someone with his exact personality; his lack of leadership, his narcissism, his love for symbolism over substance and his complete lack of business skills (unless it enriched him personally). Needless to say we parted ways.
When Obama was elected, I told my wife, "I know that guy... well". I predicted what he might do as president and unfortunately most of those things have come to be.
And so now he has driven the car into a ditch and even his cheering section is tired of hearing him say that a tow truck is on the way. Meanwhile he has his foot on the gas and we go deeper and deeper into the abyss.
I don't see too many Obama t-shirts anymore.
Here's a great article by Peggy Noonan that expands upon this welcome change of events.
"So he is losing a battle in which he had superior forces—the presidency, the U.S. senate. In the process he revealed that his foes have given him too much mystique. He is not a devil, an alien, a socialist. He is a loser. And this is America, where nobody loves a loser."
