Just a few pictures of home.

An Americauna hen. They lay greenish-blue eggs. Levi could eat a dozen boiled eggs a day.
Smokey is Patience's calf. He's half Black Baldy, which is an Angus-Hereford cross. He has no Jersey characteristics at all, which will be great when he's in the freezer.
Broody hen.
Levi is our egg-catcher and we've been wondering why he's not afraid of them. The other day, one of the girls watched him go in the chicken coop to collect eggs. He bops the chickens on the nose and then grabs the eggs.
Ingenuity of a three-year-old.
Cows with guilty looks are always bad news.
This is half of Levi's personality to a tee.
The other half is dirt, noise and laughter.
We had nine piglets earlier this year. We raise purebred Landrace hogs.
One man drove four hours from Savannah to buy five of them. I believe this one is now in the freezer.
We used to have an old 1941 Farmall H tractor with a pull-behind 1959 John Deere bush hog, but it was cheating death each time I took it out, soooo I sold it several years ago.
The other day we stopped at a Ford tractor restoration shop that we have been passing for 20 years and took a look at what they had.
We picked up a very nice 1973 Ford 3000 diesel from the owner, who is essentially a modern day Thomas Edison.
